Looking for a good, simple camera under $ 1,000. Good clarity and zoom. Interchangeable lenses is a plus. ?

I’m looking for a camera under $ 1000 that has good clarity and zoom. I’ll be using it for action/scenic shots. I don’t want one that has the latest and greatest features, it just needs to be able to get the job done. Simple is good, and so is interchangeable lenses.

Then for excellent landscape photography, take the money you have left over and save for the amazing 12-24 mm Nikon lens.
